 Donald Dever has been a resident of Florida since 1971. Originally from Michigan, Mr. Dever has a B.S. degree from Wayne State University with a major in Accounting and a minor in Economics. He is a Licensed General Contractor and Real Estate Broker. He is a Member of the Institute of Management Accountants and a Certified Commercial Investment Member. He was a Direct Participation Program Representative and Mortgage Broker. Mr. Dever was one of the founders of the Florida Asset Managers Association and was its first President. Mr. Dever is President of Prime Realty Advisors, Inc., and brings with him a strong development and marketing background. Before founding PRA, Mr. Dever was the Managing Partner of Whispering Lakes Commerce Center; a very successful 37-acre mixed use industrial park in Pompano Beach. He was responsible for the project's acquisition, zoning, and platting and obtained construction/permanent financing. He had total "hands on" responsibility for marketing, construction and profitability of the park. Mr. Dever also held several senior accounting positions including Regional Controller of Automatic Data Processing. He has had extensive experience in implementing financial controls and in reporting to senior management. Mr. Dever has also acted in the capacity as General Manager for investors in the marketing and administration of a 246 condominium unit project. During a time of rapidly rising interest rates, he successfully sold and closed all of the units and negotiated the turnover of the Condominium Association from the developer to the unit owners. He has been a Court Appointed Receiver for numerous properties as well as worked on behalf of the FDIC and RTC on the Management/Disposition of their properties. Donald Dever is a proven commodity, capable of handling the full range of services required to turn problem properties around. His marketing, construction, financial and administrative abilities drive the Asset Management program toward the desired destination.
